I love natural hair. No if, and's or buts about that. It's just so different, so unique. There's so much you can do with kinky hair. I've been going natural for about two years, but I've only been using natural products and learning more about how African hair care works for only about a year.
I learned that I have fine, thick hair and I'm still learning how to manage it properly. Like what the deal is with micro-braids and heavy weaves....BAD IDEA! (at least with fine hair). I've also been looking into some new natural hair products. One of my absolute favorite hair product lines, Shea Moisture, has made a big difference in my hair. I would definitely recommend it to almost any and everyone., but I also recommend find a product that works for your hair.
As much as I love natural hair, it's hard for to care for my hair as freely as I choose. Especially when your an unemployed teen. But by watching YouTube videos, such as MyNaturalSistas, I've found ways to take care of my hair from the inside. Here's a list of food that are good for providing growth and strength to your hair.
1.) Salmon
2.) Walnuts
3.) Oysters
4.) Sweet Potatoes
5.) Eggs
6.) Spinach
7.) Lentils
8.) Greek Yogurt
9.) Blueberries
10.)Poultry
